Home Have you enjoyed what you heard?

On this, our 31st show, we want to wish you the happiest of new years! We are hopeful that 2008 brings you all that you are wishing for, but most especially your baby. The new year always holds hope and promise. Embrace it, and remember to keep your head high. This could be YOUR year. I always feel refreshed, re-ignited and ready to start anew when the calendar turns to the next year. I hope you feel that way too. However, it never hurts to have a few New Years affirmations in your pocket to refer to, whether you need them or not...but ESPECIALLY if and when you do. Words are powerful. Allow them to empower you. If YOU are in the midst of your battle, and you've just 'survived' yet another Christmas (or Hanukka) season, you have most likely found it to be, at times, unbearable. I know personally how it feels to go through Christmas after Christmas after Christmas, feeling left out in the cold, when seeing other families and their children enjoying the holiday. Just be persistent. If it is in your heart, refuse to be denied. Go down the path that you feel you need to be on, and make adjustments along the way if necessary. There IS a light at the end of your tunnel. And that light is your baby. On today's show I talk about the shrink I saw during my dark times and how he had showed me that life is like a crinkled piece of paper. And though it sounds strange, he was right. (I explain that on the show.) And you MUST hear how Addison's story unfolded when her birthmom gave her a baby just in time for an unforgettable Christmas celebration! And yet another 'success' story comes to us from one of the women we have been praying for on our poetic prayer chain! Miracles are all around us everyday. May you be blessed with many. May you be blessed especially with a baby in 2008. You are capable and deserving. Don't let anyone stand in the way of your bliss. You are amazing ... and you are a mommy. Happy New Year to you all!
